Ms Mayawati became eligible for PM of Prabuddha Bharath because of the
best governance the Congress could not tolerate this. So the EVMs were
distorted, tampered and rigged in favour of SP. the trend continues.
Hence the Jathi Familywadi parties including SP, Congress and BJP are

Party (BSP) supremo Mayawati is one stalwart who can steal the show even
before the opposition ponders over what went wrong. Mayawati is
one leader who can never be underrated or underestimated.
The BSP supremo, considered to be the messiah of the downtrodden and now for the entire Sarvajan Samaj, is
looking forward to the support of SC/STs /OBCs/Minorities/poor upper castes to seize the throne
in Lucknow.
As per a 2011 census, SC/STs constitute 21.1 percent and Other Backward
Classes (OBCs) constitute 40 percent of Uttar Pradesh’s population.
Mayawati also enjoys the support of Muslims, accounting for 18-19
percent of the state population, this time, thereby giving a setback to
the Samajwadi Party-Congress tie-up as reports suggest that the
community is upset with Akhilesh Yadav government’s handling of the
Muzaffarnagar riots.
54 percent of Muslims voted for the Samajwadi Party in the 2002 assembly
elections and if they do not impose their trust in young Akhilesh, the
BSP stands at an advantage this time. Out of the 403 seats up for grabs,
the BSP has fielded 97 Muslim candidates in a bid to win the
community’s trust.
Mayawati has so far in her election campaigns attacked both the
Congress-Samajwadi Party alliance and the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP)
alike.
The BSP supremo had earlier said that the Congress’ alliance with the
Samajwadi Party shows its political bankruptcy and will be adverse to
the party.
Mayawati has also left no stone unturned in attacking the BJP.
Condemning Modi’s DEMONetisation drive, Mayawati
had said that the BJP should be prepared for ‘bure din’ in Uttar
Pradesh.
The infighting in Mulayam Singh Yadav’s clan may also give Mayawati an
advantage. Mulayam’s younger brother and former PWD minister Shivpal
Singh Yadav had announced last month that he will float a new party
after the results are declared on March 11.
If Mulayam is not able to settle the
differences in his family, the Samajwadi Party may even lose its
traditional voters this time. This again puts Mayawati in the driver’s
seat.

BJP at disadvantage now is that the RSSised party has not projected any

cadres.The voters have switched their loyalties in the present political
scenario.
Moreover, DEMONetisation puts the BJP’s prospects in dark as one cannot
deny the fact that the people indeed faced problems post the November 8
decision to DEMONetise high-value currency.
In addition, the BJP’s loss at the hands of Nitish Kumar-led grand
alliance in Bihar may also not go in favour of the RSSised party in
Uttar Pradesh as a section of the voters here claim that the fight here
is about development and not RSSisation.
Moreover, Mulayam and Congress president Sonia Gandhi missing from the
political scene may also benefit the BSP as traditional voters may not
impose their trust on the newly-formed alliance.
What’s more interesting is that the Samajwadi-Congress alliance and the
BJP have traded charges at each other in most of the election rallies
and not kept their focus on the BSP. This latest war of words between
the two camps may also go in Mayawati’s favour.
INDIAN RAILWAY CATERING SCAM IN PANTRY CARS

Last week i was travelling from Visakhapatnam to Howrah in
Yesvantpur-Howrah Express. Ordered Veg. meal from the pantry car, as per
waiter it was Rs.90/- only.
I have always in mind that these
people are charging very high for the meals but never took it seriously.
But this time i determined to enquire about it.
Googled about the rate card and menu, found this website,

I was shocked when I saw the rates -
Veg meals which pantry car person was selling at Rs 90 was priced only Rs 50/-
Non-Veg meals pantry car rate was priced Rs 100 is only Rs 55/-
Two more options are also available as Standard Thali Meals- Veg and Non-Veg atRs 35 and Rs 40.
After meals , i handed over Rs 50 to the waiter, but he was demanding 90.
I asked him about the RATE CARD, he refused to have any such thing.
Shown him the above website and rates, he was like Rs. 50 will be ok but DON’T TELL ANYONE.
I was so furious, travelled all the way from 13th coach to 1st coach to the pantry car.
And on my way, informed co-passengers who were taking the meals from pantry about this scam.
Met the Pantry-In-charge. Enquired about this. he was also telling the
same story, rate cards are missing right now but will shortly get the
new one.
About the Jacked price of meal he was mum. Lodge a
complaint in his Complaint register , which he handed over to me after
half an hour.
Initially he was pleading not to write the
complaint but after writing the complaint, he was like nobody will see
this , it will go into dustbin that’s it.
To my surprise, against
my complaint (he is obliged to give reason in writing - triplet
complaint copies - one has to handed over to customer) he wrote “taken
only Rs 50 from customer Bill No XXX and this customer writes complaint
every time he travels. “
The same situation is in almost every
train, pantry car meals price are jacked up as no one question them, no
one ask about the rate card.
As per one of the estimate, every
day around 25 million passenger travel from Indian Railways , if only
0.5% of these passengers takes either lunch or dinner from pantry cars ,
even extra rupees 30 on each plate will make these people rich by Rs
37,500,000.
Calculate for yourself for 100% passengers complaining.
Or just multiply Rs 37,500,000 by 200 and again by 365…
ENORMOUS!
Please do insist for Bill every time you ordered any food from a Railway pantry car.
Please do try to forward this to all, as so many depend on Rail travel & can’t afford Air travel.

Murderer of democratic institutions (Modi) is least bothered about his DEMONetisation as he is distorting the EVM.
Uttar Pradesh is home to an estimated 220 million people and polls in
the state are typically a bellwether of national politics.
The
vote is not a referendum on Modi’s controversial ban on high-value
notes, which hit poor rural communities hard, has disrupted daily life
and commerce and caused the economy to slow.
On the campaign
trail, Modi, who in 2014 swept the state in a landslide by distorting
the EVM, will be washed out in 2019 as the entire EVMs will be replaced.
In 2014 only 8 out of 543 seats were replaced as the ex CJI sathasivam
committed a grave error of judgement by ordering that the EVMs be
replaced in a phased manner as suggested by ex CEC Sampath because of
the cost of Rs 1600 crores involved in entire replacement while Modi
spent Rs 3000 crores for commissioning a statue for a RSSised
anti-reservation leader and another Rs 3000 crores for RSSised Shivaji
statue, is the biggest gamble of Modi.

Mayawati happy with phase II poll trend, says BSP to get majority
LUCKNOW: BSP chief Mayawati expressed satisfaction over the polling
trend in the second phase of the Uttar Pradesh Assembly polls on
Wednesday, saying it indicated that her party was surging towards
getting a majority.
“Just like the first phase, the second phase
of polling in 67 seats which took place on February 15 is a good
indication that BSP is coming to power in UP with full majority,” she
said in a statement.
Congratulating her party workers and leaders
besides the people of the state, Mayawati said there were reports that
polling in the remaining five phases of the crucial state polls will be
equally encouraging for her party.
People only have faith on
‘tried and tested’ BSP leadership as they know she (Mayawati) believes
in saying and doing the same thing and will fulfil the promise on ending
‘Jungleraj’ and bringing rule of law after coming to power,” she added.

Farmers are hurting here in the fields of northern India,
where the sugar mills are months behind in payments for the cane
harvest. In village centers, the tea Modi’s banned the largest currency
notes. That caused a severe cash shortage that has choked business.
Villagers suggest that they are less inclined in this election to support Modi.
Akhilesh Yadav, president of the Samajwadi Party, is in a power
struggle with his father. He emerged not only with control over the
party, but also with his image burnished, both with images tarnished by
years in power in a state that is performing poorly by most measures.
People don’t want another term with these unsavory guys.
Farming and brickmaking continue to be the principal sources of
employment in western Uttar Pradesh, but most people have radically
different aspirations for their children. Though they live far from the
glittering malls and high-tech companies of India’s big cities, they
want their children to receive the education they need to get jobs in
the modern economy they see on television. That brings enormous
frustration because local government schools are wholly inadequate to
the task.
Mr. Singh’s wife, Rekha, sitting across from him on the
string bed in their courtyard, said their children needed to be taught
English so they could get good jobs, but that the government schools
still taught in Hindi. In addition, teachers are frequently absent. More
than 31 percent of rural teachers in Uttar Pradesh are absent on any
given day, compared with a nationwide rate of nearly 24 percent.
In village after village, parents complained about the government
schools. But with the sugar mills months behind in payments, the farmers
have been unable to pay school fees, making them feel powerless to
demand changes.
“We have to stand by quietly now,” said Jay
Kumar, 32, sitting in the courtyard of the house he shares with his
father and several brothers. “We dare not tell the teachers anything
since we can’t even pay school fees on time.”
Even though Mr.
Kumar is a member of the elected village governing body, the panchayat,
he, too, was paid months late for his sugar cane harvest. Crime is worse
after riots that took place between Hindus and Muslims in nearby
villages in 2013, leading thousands of Muslims to flee.
“People come and snatch our mobiles and steal our buffalo at gunpoint,” he said.
A few miles away are villages of Jaats, a different caste of Hindus who
also voted heavily in favor of Mr. Modi. On a village corner in Lisarh,
a sugar cane farmer, Vipin Malik, and a group of men chatted outside a
store in the afternoon, reclining in wicker chairs.
“There won’t
be a single vote in my village for Modi,” Mr. Malik said, folding his
arms across his chest and leaning back in his chair.
Mr. Modi’s
currency ban has further dimmed his appeal. The local bank has not had
enough cash for three months, Mr. Malik and other residents of Lisarh
said.
In Shamli, the nearest town, where the best private schools
and doctors’ offices are, Mr. Modi’s party also appears out of favor,
in large part because of the cash shortage.
Mohammed Arshad, 26, a
house painter wearing a Nike cap, said he was getting far less work
because of the shortage. “People who are supposed to pay me are unable
to, and I can’t pay daily wage laborers,” he said.
With so many
people barely working, demand for tea and snacks has fallen by 75
percent, said Mohammed Yunus, 54, a tea stall owner, stirring three
shallow pots of sweets and samosas.
“Those who had four teas now get two teas, and they are cutting out sweets,” he said.
Meherbaan Ahmed, who sells old tires, said business had almost shut
down since the currency ban. “We don’t even have winter clothes for our
children. We are all worried.”
“In 2014, everybody, even the smallest kids, were saying, ‘Modi, Modi.’ Now nobody is asking about him,” Mr. Ahmed said.

இந்த இயந்திரங்களில் இரு பெட்டிகள் உள்ளன. Ballot Unit என்ற பெட்டி மூலம் வாக்காளர்கள் வாக்கு அளிக்கிறார்கள். Control unit
என்ற பெட்டி வாக்குச் சாவடி அதிகாரிகளின் கட்டுப் பாட்டில் இருக்கும்.
இந்த இரண்டு பெட்டிகளும் ஒரு நீண்ட கேபிள் மூலம் இணைக்கப் பட்டிருக்கும்.
வாக்குப் பதிவு முடிந்தவுடன் Contol unit பெட்டியில் உள்ள சிவப்புத்
திரை (display) ஒவ்வொரு வேட்பாளருக்கும் எத்தனை வாக்குகள் விழுந்துள்ளன
என்று காண்பிக்கும்.
இந்த இயந்திரத்திற்கு உட்புறம் ஒரு circuit board
உள்ளது. அடிப்படையில், கணினிகளில் காணப்படும் motherboard போன்று ஆனால்
அதைவிட மிக சிறிய அளவிலான, குறைந்த செயல்திறன் கொண்ட, சில குறிப்பிட்ட
செயல்களுக்காக வடிவமைக்கப் பட்ட board இது. இதன் செயல்படு மூளையாக CPU unit, வாக்குகளை சேமிக்க memory unit மற்றும் வாக்குகளை திரைக்கு அனுப்ப display unit ஆகியவை உள்ளன.
மோசடி செய்ய விரும்புபவர்கள் மூன்று விதங்களில் தங்கள் இஷ்டப் படி
வாக்குகளை மாற்ற முடியும் என்று ஆய்வுக் கட்டுரை நிரூபிக்கிறது. இந்த
வழிமுறைகளில் சில வீடியோவில் செய்து காட்டப் பட்டும் உள்ளன.
வழிமுறை ஒன்று:
display unitக்கு செல்லும் மெல்லிய board ஐ எடுத்து விட்டு, கிரிமினல்கள் தங்களது boardஐ அதில் சொருகி விடலாம்.
இந்த செருகப்பட்ட போர்டில் மிகச் சிறிய வயர்லெஸ் ரிசீவரும் (உதாரணமாக,
செல்போன்களில் உள்ள Bluetooth ரிசீவர்) இருக்கும். இப்படி சொருகுவதற்காக
உருவாக்கப் பட்ட board ஒன்றைக் கீழே பார்க்கலாம் –
வாக்குச் சாவடிக்குப் பக்கத்தில் ஒரு
செல்போனை வைத்துக் கொண்டு, உண்மையில் போடப்பட்ட வாக்குகளுக்குப் பதிலாக,
தங்கள் இஷ்டப்படி வாக்குகள் எண்ணிக்கை வருமாறு செல்போனில் உள்ள வயர்லெஸ்
டிரான்ஸ்மிட்டர் மூலம் செய்ய முடியும்.
வழிமுறை இரண்டு:
EVM இயந்திரத்திற்கு உட்புறம் உள்ள memory chipகளை இணைக்கும் இடத்தில்
ஒரு சிறிய “தாக்குதல் கருவி”யை க்ளிப் போன்று பொருந்துமாறு உள்ளே வைத்து
விடலாம்.
மின்விசிறியில் உள்ள ரெகுலேட்டர் போன்று சுழல் பட்டன்கள் கொண்ட இந்த
க்ளிப் கருவி மூலம் கிரிமினல்கள் தங்களுக்கு வேண்டிய வேட்பாளருக்கு
வாக்குகள் திருடப் படும் வகையில் ‘செட்’ பண்ணி வைக்கலாம். இந்த க்ளிப்
கருவியை குறைந்த செலவில் சட்டைப் பைக்குள் போட்டுக் கொள்ளும் அளவுக்கு
மிகச் சிறிய அளவில் தயாரிக்க முடியும்!
வழிமுறை மூன்று:
EVM இயந்திரத்திற்கு உள்ளே உள்ள cpu இயங்குவதற்கான மென்பொருள்
(software) படிப்பதற்குக் கடினமான இயந்திர மொழியில் மாற்ற முடியாத படி
பொதிந்து வைக்கப் பட்டுள்ளதாகவும், அதனால் இதைத் தயாரிக்கும் நிறுவனங்களே
இதை மாற்ற முடியாது என்றும் தேர்தல் ஆணையம் கூறுகிறது. ஆனால் இது
இருமுனைகள் கொண்ட கத்தி போன்ற வாதம். ஏனென்றால் இயந்திரங்கள் தயாரிக்கப்
படும் இடத்தில் எந்த மென்பொருள் இந்த சிப்களுக்குள் வைத்து பொதியப் பட்டது
என்பதை தேர்தல் ஆணையம் உட்பட யாருமே கண்டுபிடிக்க முடியாது. மேலும், இந்த
மென்பொருள் நேரிடையானது; சங்கேதக் குறியீடுகள் மூலம் பாதுகாக்கப் பட்டது
அல்ல (not securely encrypted). எனவே மாற்றப் பட்டிருப்பதற்கான தடயங்களைக்
கண்டுபிடிக்கவும் இயலாது. அதோடு, இந்த இயந்திரங்கள் வெளிநாடுகளில் உள்ள
தொழிற்சாலைகளில் தயாரிக்கப் படுகின்றன என்னும் போது இதனால் உருவாகும்
ரிஸ்க் இன்னும் அதிகமாகிறது.
வாக்குப் பதிவு இயந்திரங்களை மூடப் பயன்படுத்தப் படும் மெழுகு ’சீல்’ (seal)
மிகச் சாதாரணமானது; இதன் போலியை மிக எளிதாக உருவாக்கிவிட முடியும்.
இயந்திரத்தைத் திறந்து மோசடி உபகரணங்களைப் பொருத்தி விட்டு போலி சீலை
வைத்து கண்டுபிடிக்க முடியாதபடி மூடிவிடலாம். மேற்கண்டதில் முதல் இரண்டு
மோசடி வழிமுறைகளை சில நிமிடங்களுக்குள் செய்துவிடலாம் என்றும்
நிரூபித்திருக்கிறார்கள்.
இந்திய மின்னணு இயந்திரத்தின் வன்பொருள் (hardware) மற்றும் மென்பொருள்
(software) மிக மிக எளிமையானது, நேரடியானது. மற்ற நாடுகளின் தேர்தல்
இயந்திரங்கள் போல கடினமான தொழில்நுட்ப சிக்கல்கள் கொண்டதல்லை; அந்த எளிமை
காரணமாகவே இவற்றில் மோசடி செய்வது கடினம் என்று தேர்தல் ஆணையம்
சொல்லிவந்தது.
ஆனால் இந்த எளிய இயந்திரத்தில் ஓட்டைகள் உள்ளன என்பது இப்போது நிரூபிக்கப் பட்டு விட்டது.
1980களில் பரிசோதனை முயற்சியாக மின்னணு வாக்குப் பதிவு இயந்திரங்கள்
சிற்சில இடங்களில் அறிமுகப் படுத்தப் பட்டன. பிறகு 2004 தேர்தல்கள் முதல்
நாடு தழுவிய அளவில் எல்லா வாக்குச் சாவடிகளிலும் EVM இயந்திரங்கள் மூலமாகவே
வாக்குப் பதிவு நடைபெறுகிறது. தற்போது சுமார் 14 லட்சம்
வாக்குப் பதிவு இயந்திரங்கள் புழக்கத்தில் உள்ளன. இந்த அத்தனை
இயந்திரங்களையும் பாதுகாக்க அதிதீவிர கண்காணிப்பு தேவை. சாமானியர்களான
தாங்களே முயற்சி எடுத்து ஒரு இயந்திரத்தை பரிசோதனைக்காகப் பெற முடிந்தது
என்கையில், அதிகார பலமும், பணபலமும் கொண்ட அரசியல் கிரிமினல்களுக்கு இது
இன்னும் எளிதான விஷயமாகவே இருக்கக் கூடும் என்ற தங்கள் கவலையையும் கட்டுரை
ஆசிரியர்கள் எழுப்புகின்றனர்.
ஒருமுறை ஒரு இயந்திரத்தைக் கைப்பற்றினால் போதும். அதை வைத்து மோசடி
உபகரணங்களை உருவாக்கி விடலாம். பிறகு வாக்குச் சாவடிகளுக்குள் சென்று சில
நிமிட அவகாசத்தில் அவற்றை உள்ளே இடவேண்டும், அவ்வளவு தான்.
