Traditionally the are 84,000 Dharma Doors - 84,000 ways to get Awakeness. Maybe so; certainly the Buddha taught a large number of practices that lead to Awakeness. This web page attempts to catalogue those found in the Pali Suttas (DN, MN, SN, AN, Ud & Sn 1). There are 3 sections: |
The discourses of Buddha are divided into 84,000, as to separate addresses. The division includes all that was spoken by Buddha.βI received from Buddha,β said Ananda, β82,000 Khandas, and from the priests 2000; these are 84,000 Khandas maintained by me.β They are divided into 275,250, as to the stanzas of the original text, and into 361,550, as to the stanzas of the commentary. All the discourses including both those of Buddha and those of the commentator, are divided into 2,547 banawaras, containing 737,000 stanzas, and 29,368,000 separate letters.

Visakha Sutta: To Visakha

I have heard that on one occasion the Blessed One was staying in Savatthi at the Eastern Monastery, the palace of Migara’s mother. Now at that time a dear and beloved grandson of Visakha, Migara’s mother, had died. So Visakha, Migara’s mother β her clothes wet, her hair wet β went to the Blessed One in the middle of the day and, on arrival, having bowed down to him, sat to one side. As she was sitting there the Blessed One said to her: “Why have you come here, Visakha β your clothes wet, your hair wet β in the middle of the day?”
When this was said, she said to the Blessed One, “My dear and beloved grandson has died. This is why I have come here β my clothes wet, my hair wet β in the middle of the day.”
“Visakha, would you like to have as many children and grandchildren as there are people in Savatthi?”
“Yes, lord, I would like to have as many children and grandchildren as there are people in Savatthi.”
“But how many people in Savatthi die in the course of a day?”
“Sometimes ten people die in Savatthi in the course of a day, sometimes nine… eight… seven… six… five… four… three… two… Sometimes one person dies in Savatthi in the course of a day. Savatthi is never free from people dying.”
“So what do you think, Visakha: Would you ever be free from wet clothes and wet hair?”
“No, lord. Enough of my having as many children and grandchildren as there are people in Savatthi.”
“Visakha, those who have a hundred dear ones have a hundred sufferings. Those who have ninety dear ones have ninety sufferings. Those who have eighty… seventy… sixty… fifty… forty… thirty… twenty… ten… nine… eight… seven… six… five… four… three… two… Those who have one dear one have one suffering. For those with no dear ones, there are no sufferings. They are free from sorrow, free from stain, free from lamentation, I tell you.”
Then, on realizing the significance of that, the Blessed One on that occasion exclaimed:
The sorrows, lamentations,
the many kinds of suffering in the world,
exist dependent on something dear.
They don’t exist
when there’s nothing dear.
And thus blissful & sorrowless
are those for whom nothing
in the world is dear anywhere.
So one who aspires
to be stainless & sorrowless
shouldn’t make anything
in the world dear
anywhere.

02 The present status of SC/STs in India is shown below:

SC/ST % in Administration, Police, CBI, Media, Intelligence Deptt., Defence Forces, Judiciary, Anti Riot Forces, etc.

From above table, it is clear that the no. of Officers from SC/ST Community is very less in the Most Powerful Organisations and Departments of India.
03 All the Riots, Atrocities, Hatred, Injustice, Discrimination & Conspiracies can be prevented by recruiting One Lakh SC/ST persons as Officer in Administration, Police, CBI & Intelligence Deptt.
04 The expected expenditure on such recruitment is calculated below.
If the salary of one SC/ST Officer = Rs. 80,000 per month.
Then, salary of One Lakh SC/ST Officers in one year = 1,00,000 SC/ST Officers X Rs. 80,000 per month X 12 months. =Rs.9,600 crore per annum.
05 The Budget Fund of Central Govt. is about Rs. 10,00,000 Crores per annum.

07 Thus, with just 1.0 % part of Budget Fund of Central Govt. One Lakh SC/ST persons can be recruited as Officers in Administration, CBI & Intelligence Deptt.
In India , SC/STs are about 25 % by population, so, they deserve 25 % share in Budget Funds of the Central Govt.
08 If there shall be One Lakh SC/ST Officers in Administration, CBI & Intelligence Deptt., then there shall be no Riot, Atrocity, Injustice, Hatred, Discrimination or Conspiracy in India.
09 Prevention of Riots & Conspiracies is always better than the investigations after Riots or Conspiracies.
10 The Unity & Awareness among SC/STs is the key to acquire the MASTER KEY for a Happy, Respectful & Secured life for all the SC/STs in India to transform to Jambudvipa, that is, the Great PraBuddha BHharath. Only the BSP has the capacity to acquire the MASTER KEY. Let us go to the people to tell this truth.
