The Direct cash subsidy transfer scheme of central government is like putting new cover on old book.
Stringent measures are required to be taken by the central and state governments to prevent harassment of women in the country.
So far as last year’s performance and working of UPA government headed by the congress party at the center are concerned, in this reference our party believes that in most of the cases the policies of central government remained ineffective and disappointing, means, they have not been proved fully beneficial at all and in this regard instead of solving the issues of public interest and issues afflicting the masses.The UPA government has paid more attention to the non-public interest and nonpublic utility issues, thereby not doing justice to the poor people and betrayed the general public of the country. Due to all these reasons-during this period the reservation in promotion (Amendment) Bil for SC/ST in Loksabha could not be passed, besides this The National food security guarantee bill, land acquisition bill, lokpal bill etc. and several other bills of national and public interest, could not be passed last year, as a result of which the public at large has suffered immensely. As such, the last year of central government has been marred with many scams and corruption.
Not only this, but due to most faulty economic policies of central government during last year the overall poverty, unemployment and inflation has attained new nights in the country. Similarly, instead addressing the issues of poverty, unemployment and inflation the central government has launched FDI in retail market and increased price of cooking gas and limited the supply of gas cylinder etc.It has been their policy of utilizing full potential and energy to their party and government only in implementing the negative works of non-public and anti-public schemes, as a result there is considerable frustration and anxiety in the general public of the country. Now, when the time is approaching for general LokSabha elections, the central Government, headed by Congress, once again is bent upon using these types of false electoral allurements.
In this regard, the central Government is especially taking shelter of such type of schemes, which have immediate electoral advantages, even though it is fully known to them that it will take many years for implementing these schemes throughout the country and in this connection , the scheme of Direct Cash Subsidy transfer is especially notable. The senior leader and policy maker of Central Government is himself expressing before the media that it will be an election winning scheme of the congress party. We know that the intensions of the Central Government in launching the said scheme is not truthful because if the Central Government had clear intentions about this scheme then before launching this scheme, the state Governments should have been taken in confidence and encouraged to ensure the success of such scheme, more effectively. Similarly, first of all benefit of this scheme should have been ensured to Below Poverty Line (B.P.L)families of the country.Although, through this new scheme, this benefit is not been given for the first time separately to the poor beneficiaries of the country, rather under the various “Central Schemes”, these benefits were already being given to the poor public through the state Governments and now out of these schemes, the Central Government - in view of ensuing LokSabha elections in the country for their political self interest, have themselves launched the same schemes in different names like Direct Cash Subsidy transfer. And on 01-01-2013, very hurriedly, only in seven cases this immature scheme has been launched in twenty districts of the country and out of these three schemes, i.e., SCHEME OF SCHOLARSHIPS TO THE CAPITAL SC/ST AND OBS STUDENTS HAVE BEEN INCLUDED FORCEFULLY, WHICH WAS ALREADY BEING GIVEN THROUGH CASH TRANSFER TO THE BANKS DURING MY GOVERNMENT IN UTTAR PRADESH FOR PAST MANY YEARS and also by most of the other state Governments. And now, through this new scheme, i.e., Direct Cash Subsidy transfer scheme, the congress party by saying “Your money in your hand”, are trying to encase in the ensuing LokSabha election. This scheme of Central Government is like ” putting a new cover on old book”. That is why, keeping all this into considertion THE POOR PEOPLE OF THE COUNTRY HAVE TO KEEP THEMSELVES AWAKENED WITH AWARENESS AND ALERT WITH FROM THE NEW POLITICAL DRAMA OF VESTED INTERESTS OF THE CONGRESS PARTY AND SHOULD NOT AT ALL GET MISGUIDE BY THIS. NOW IT IS NECESSARY FOR THE POOR PEOPLE FOR THE SAKE OF THEIR INTEREST TO KEEP AWAY THE DECEITFUL CONGRESS PART FROM COMING TO POWER AT THE CENTRE.
In addition to this a very recent case of “Delhi Gang Rape” which is very sad and condemnable incident has come into light. I feel, by this incident, the conscience of the people of the country to some extent has awakened. But in this case, the attitude of the central Government, vis-a-vis the State Governments has not changed yet. And I feel they are still in somber otherwise such incidents would not have occurred in the country.While in this case, in my opinion the Central Government should immediately initiate consultation with Honble’ Chief Justice of India, State Governments and with respective Chief Justices of High Courts to work out fro speedy trials in rape and women harassment matters and ensure punishments should be give to the culprits. While this is most unfortunate that the highly placed officials in the Government are simply condemning the incident and expressing their grieves instead of taking concrete steps. Even though it is the demand of the time to take some concrete steps in such type of cases. That is to say, by not initiating to take some concrete steps will also amount to a criminal offense and therefore the Central and State Governments have to pay timely attention. Simultaneously, TO PREVENT THE EXPLOITATION/HARASSMENT OF WOMEN, THE PEOPLE OF ALL RELIGIONS IN THE COUNTRY HAVE TO TAKE INITIATIVES OF SPREADING MORAL/ETHICAL VALUES IN THEIR FAMILY AND SOCIETY. IN ADDITION TO THIS, THE PEOPLE OF OTHER AREAS, ESPECIALLY IN FILMS AND ADVERTISEMENTS SHOULD ALSO DO BRAIN STORMING EARNESTLY.
