Chief
election commissioner V S Sampath on Saturday said the commission would
look into the complaint filed by Congress seeking disqualification of
BJP’s Prime Ministerial candidate, Narendra Modi for not mentioning his
marital status in the affidavits filed in past elections.

“The
commission has received a complaint. There are judgments of the Supreme
Court in such cases. The complaint will be examined in the light of the
relevant provisions of law and Supreme Court judgment,” Sampath said
when asked whether hiding marital status would attract disqualification.

It
seems Gujarat chief minister Narendra Modi has finally realized that
more than any other politician, Bahujan Samaj Party (BSP) former chief Minister Ms mayawati has the potential to ruin his chances of getting elected ias MP in UP.

Congress Hits Panic Button

Congress Hits Panic Button, Rattled by first three phases of elections, Rahul calls an emergency meeting to devise strategy for next rounds, Congress hits panic button, It’s taken three phases of elections
voting in 100 constituencies for the Congress to see the writing on the
wall. Alarmed by an internal assessment that shows the Congress has
fared far worse than expected and is in danger
of being pushed out of the game in the Lok Sabha polls. Congress vice- president Rahul Gandhi has
stepped in to stem the tide in the 350- odd seats that the party is contesting.

According to top party sources, Rahul has asked Congress managers to
deploy central observers in each of the 350- plus seats that will go to
polls in the remaining six phases of the elections
to galvanise party workers and give a final push to the campaign.
Congress sources said the move to deploy the observers came after a
strategy session chaired on Thursday by Rahul following feedback from
the 91 Lok Sabha constituencies that voted in the third phase, including
seven in Delhi. The feedback included the worst- case scenario of the
polls becoming a contest between the BJP and BSP moving the Congress to the
third position.

In Delhi, the Congress is hoping that Ajay Maken would also lose in the New
Delhi seat to BSP as the pro-Modi sentiment has died because Chief
election commissioner V S Sampath on Saturday said the commission would
look into the complaint filed by Congress seeking disqualification of
BJP’s Prime Ministerial candidate, Narendra Modi for not mentioning his
marital status in the affidavits filed in past elections.

” We need to pull out all stops now,” said a Congress strategist familiar with the meeting chaired by Rahul. ” The party’s observers will visit each of the constituencies to sense which way the political wind is blowing and will play a role in trying to change it in our favour,”

Salute

to the Greater Babasaheb
Dr.B.R.Ambedkar, Man of the Millennium, Greatest Person in 1000 years
who was loyal to the cause of Dukkha (Misery and Suffering) of Sarvajan
(All Societies). Hence became the owner and Main architect of the Modern
world of Awaken One with Awareness
Proud to say, JAI BHIM, JAI BHARAT.

All
beings in this Universe have the nature of Awakened One with Awareness
(AOA), full of Metta i.e., Compassion and Loving Kindness. We must kindle
this awareness in this Universe for the welfare, happiness and peace
for all sentient and non-sentient beings to make this a Universe of AOA.

“Jati Todo Samaj Jodo”

Mayawati
and Kanshiram talk of “Jati Todo Samaj Jodo”, they say break your
own caste, forget about well being of only your caste and strive for
making up a “Sarvajan Samaj” identity, which alone can convert the
minority into majority as brahmanism has broken the society into
various castes numbering about six thousand. It should be our aim to
unite these
various castes into one identity of “Sarvajan”.
They believe that political solution is the most important
method and quote Ambedkar that political power is the master key
to all the ailments of non-Brahmins including poor upper castes. They
point out to the tremendous work that has been done in U.P. in a
short span of her rule there. They have not tried to strengthen
only Chamar caste, they have asked to strengthen all Sarvajans to
come together and work for common good of all societies ” Sarvajan Hitay
sarvajan Sukhay”. They never worked for “separate but equal”
castes. Dr. Ambedkar, Shahu, Phule always worked to bring all
together, demolishing walls among the castes, never ever, they
advocated salvation of any individual caste or that of an individual
person within a caste. A well known letter by Dr. Ambedkar to a Mang
youth is proof thereof.

A caste-group is never a leader and
Dr. Ambedkar never thought so either. What he identified was central
contradiction in Indian society epitomised
in and by the
Varna and Jati system. The transformative movement that the country
needs so badly today should take note of this understanding.
Ambedkar’s relevance lies precisely in this approach in building
a wider social base. Interests of caste have to be secondary to the
interests of end of caste.

” Buddha taught as a part of religion, social freedom,
intellectual freedom, economic freedom and political
freedom. He taught equality, equality between man and man
but between man and woman. It would be difficult to find
a religious teacher to compare with Buddha whose teachings
embrace so many aspects of the social life of a people whose
doctrines are so modern and whose main concern was to give
salvation to man in his life on earth and not to promise it
to him in heaven after he is dead.” [Buddha and future of
his religion”, p. 9]
