Bahujan Samaj Party (BSP) chief Mayawati on Saturday said the ‘power
hungry’ Bharatiya Jiyadha Psychopaths (BJP) led Central Government after
gobbling the Master key by tamperin the EVMs (Evil Voting Machines)has
crossed all limits to remain in power.

Her statement came following the resignation of BSP MLC Thakur Jaiveer Singh as member of Uttar Pradesh’s Upper House.

She further said that for power the BJP is blatantly misusing the
government machinery which is condemnable and has endangered the
democracy of the country.

“The political turmoil in Manipur, Goa,
Bihar, Gujarat and now in Uttar Pradesh are the evidence of the fact
that Modi (Murderer of democratic institutions) has endangered the
democracy of the nation,” Mayawati said in a statement.

“The BJP
is misusing its power in Gujarat forcing MLAs to quit their parties. All
the constitutional bodies are seems to be helpless in performing their
work,” she added.

She further said that after forming government
in Manipur and Goa, the BJP is trying to take over Bihar, Gujarat and
Uttar Pradesh by using government agencies including CBI, Income Tax and
ED to target the Opposition.

“To deviate the mind of people from
its wrong policies and corruption, the BJP is running a campaign to
prove the Opposition leaders corrupt and tainted. This is very
condemnable,” she added.

She further urged the Opposition parties and its leaders to fight back against the BJP’s atrocities.

“Instead of kneeling down and giving up before the BJP, the Opposition
parties should fight back against its terror. By doing this only we can
stop its arrogant, destructive and dictatorship actions,” she said.

Earlier in the day, Samajwadi Party MLC and Rashtriya Shia Samaj
founder Bukkal Nawab also tendered their resignation, to which Akhilesh
Yadav responded by attacking the BJP.

unpacking a shipment of beautiful meditation shawls - piled up on
shelves they are waiting to be ordered from our accessories section.
The shawls are a wool
blend and have a nice, soft hand. They only weigh about 500 grams each;
they are lightweight, but do provide a fair bit of insulation. This
makes them a great choice for both warm or cool weather!
Measurement: 46″ x 100″
(3.83ft x 8.33ft; 1.17m x 2.54m). Comfortably covering the knees while
sitting crosslegged, in lotus position or when kneeling.

by S.N. Goenka). Accordingly, it contains terminology and concepts that are familiar to Old Students, but may not make sense to someone who is not familiar with the technique.

wallah (vendor) pouring the delicious sweet liquid in a spectacular
way. 
The aim of our pilgrimages
is to visit and meditate at famous sites connected to the teachings of
the Buddha and to develop friendships with meditators from around the
world, but there is plenty of time to get familiar with the local
culture.

Pāli Workshops

Pariyatti regularly organizes Pāli workshops for old students of S.N. Goenka, who practice Vipassana Meditation regularly.
Goenkaji
emphasized that Pāli workshops such as these are very beneficial: they
help meditators develop inspiration and understanding of the theoretical
aspect of Dhamma. Workshop like these are set up similarly to a 10-day
Vipassana course, with recordings of Goenkaji’s chanting played in the
morning and three daily group sittings a day. However, there will be
both study and meditation periods throughout the day. 
Although participants observe noble speech outside of meditation hours
and complete segregation of men and women is maintained, workshops
cannot take place at a Vipassana center, as centers are dedicated to the
practice of Vipassana only. An old student kindly donated the use of
her holiday property in the hills of Temecula, California- providing a
very suitable off-center location.
 
One participant reflected back as follows on the most recent workshop, given by Klaus Nothnagel:
 
“Being
with other meditators, focussing on the Dhamma in this beautiful
setting in Southern California was very relaxing and nurturing. It is
such a rare environment, almost a ‘vacation’ from the rest of the
world.”
 
“On
a profound layer, the workshop helped deepening my understanding of why
and how to practice. Every sutta was directly related to the actual
practice of Vipassana. Everything we read taught something new and
during discussion many questions were answered. Klaus is very
knowledgeable on Pāli and a very senior Vipassana teacher; he kept us on
the level of the
practice.”

bhojane mattaññū and ārakkhagocaro support one’s firm endeavor.
