The Conquests Of All Suffering
The Story of the Questions Raised by Sakka (Verse 354)While residing at the Jetavana Monastery, the Buddha spoke this verse, with reference to four questions raised by Sakka, king of the devas.
On one occasion, at a meeting of the devas in the Tàvatiüsa realm, four questions were raised, but the devas failed to get the correct answers.
Eventually, Sakka took these devas to the Buddha at the Jetavana Monastery.
After explaining their difficulty, Sakka presented the following four questions:(1) Among gifts, which is the best?(2) Among tastes, which is the best?(3) Among delights, which is the best?(4) Why is the eradication of craving said to be the most excellent?
To these questions, the Buddha replied, “O’ Sakka, the Dhamma is the noblest of all gifts, the best of all tastes and the best of all delights.
Eradication of craving leads to the attainment of arahatship and is, therefore, the greatest of all conquests.
”At the end of the discourse, Sakka said to the Buddha, “Venerable, if the gift of the Dhamma excels all gifts why are we not invited to share the merit whenever gifts of the Dhamma are made? I pray that, from now on, we may be given a share in the merit of good deeds.”
Then the Buddha asked all the monks to assemble and exhorted them to share the merit of all their good deeds with all beings.Since then, it has become a custom to invite all beings from the thirty-one realms (bhumis) to come and share merit whenever a good deed is done. Explanatory Translation (Verse 354)
Hence it is high time to invite all Monks, Nuns, Upasakas, Upasikas from all realms to come and share whenever a good deed like the propagation of Dhamma Dheekhsha Program so as to create Prabudha Bharat or even Prabuddha Prapanch as there is a need for welfare, happiness and peace for all awakened societies all over the world as decided on 27.10.2019 many Upasakas and Upasikas of Buddha and Baba Saheb at Kushinara Nibbana Bhumi Pagoda to co-operate along with all other Buddhists Societies.

Sedertdien het dit ‘n gewoonte geword om alle wesens uit die een-en-dertig ryk (bhumis) uit te nooi om te kom deel verdienste wanneer ‘n goeie daad gedoen word. Verklarende vertaling (vers 354)

Baha’i - Founded by Mirza Husayn-Ali (known as Baha’u'llah) in Iran in 1852, Baha’i faith emphasizes monotheism and believes in one eternal transcendent God. Buddhism - Religion or philosophy inspired by the 5th century B.C. teachings of Siddhartha Gautama (also known as Gautama Buddha “the enlightened one”). Buddhism focuses on the goal of spiritual enlightenment centered on an understanding of Gautama Buddha’s Four Noble Truths on the nature of suffering, and on the Eightfold Path of spiritual and moral practice, to break the cycle of suffering of which we are a part. Buddhism ascribes to a karmic system of rebirth. Several schools and sects of Buddhism exist, differing often on the nature of the Buddha, the extent to which enlightenment can be achieved - for one or for all, and by whom - religious orders or laity.
Basic Groupings
Theravada Buddhism: The oldest Buddhist school, Theravada is practiced mostly in Sri Lanka, Cambodia, Laos, Burma, and Thailand, with minority representation elsewhere in Asia and the West. Theravadans follow the Pali Canon of Buddha’s teachings, and believe that one may escape the cycle of rebirth, worldly attachment, and suffering for oneself; this process may take one or several lifetimes.
Mahayana Buddhism, including subsets Zen and Tibetan (Lamaistic) Buddhism: Forms of Mahayana Buddhism are common in East Asia and Tibet, and parts of the West. Mahayanas have additional scriptures beyond the Pali Canon and believe the Buddha is eternal and still teaching. Unlike Theravada Buddhism, Mahayana schools maintain the Buddha-nature is present in all beings and all will ultimately achieve enlightenment.
Hoa Hao: a minority tradition of Buddhism practiced in Vietnam that stresses lay participation, primarily by peasant farmers; it eschews expensive ceremonies and temples and relocates the primary practices into the home.
Christianity - Descending from Judaism, Christianity’s central belief maintains Jesus of Nazareth is the promised messiah of the Hebrew Scriptures, and that his life, death, and resurrection are salvific for the world. Christianity is one of the three monotheistic Abrahamic faiths, along with Islam and Judaism, which traces its spiritual lineage to Abraham of the Hebrew Scriptures. Its sacred texts include the Hebrew Bible and the New Testament (or the Christian Gospels).

“Në fund të ligjërimit, Sakka i tha Budës:” E nderuar, nëse dhurata e Dhamma shkëlqen të gjitha dhuratat, pse nuk jemi të ftuar të ndajmë meritat kur të bëhen dhurata të Dhamma? Lutem që, tani e tutje, të mund të na jepet një pjesë në meritën e veprave të mira ”.
Atëherë Buda u kërkoi të gjithë murgjve që të mblidheshin dhe i nxiste ata që të ndajnë meritat e të gjitha veprave të tyre të mira me të gjitha qeniet. Prandaj, është bërë zakon që të ftoni të gjitha qeniet nga tridhjetë e një sferat (bhumis) të vijnë dhe të ndajnë merita sa herë që bëhet një vepër e mirë. Përkthim shpjegues (Vargu 354)
Prandaj është koha për të ftuar të gjithë murgjit, murgeshat, Upasakas, Upasikas nga të gjitha sferat që të vijnë dhe të ndajnë sa herë që një vepër e mirë si përhapja e Programit Dhamma Dheekhsha në mënyrë që të krijojë Prabudha Bharat apo edhe Prabuddha Prapanch pasi ka nevojë për mirëqenie , lumturi dhe paqe për të gjitha shoqëritë e zgjuara në të gjithë botën siç u vendos më 27.10.2019 shumë Upasakas dhe Upasikas të Budës dhe Baba Saheb në Kushinara Nibbana Bhumi Pagoda për të bashkëpunuar së bashku me të gjitha shoqëritë e tjera budiste.

የሁሉም መከራዎች ድሎች
በሳካ የተነሱት ጥያቄዎች ታሪክ (ቁጥር 354) በጃታቫና ገዳም ውስጥ በሚኖሩበት ጊዜ ቡድሃ ይህንን ጥቅስ የተናገረው የባንዳው ንጉስ Sakka ያነሳቸውን አራት ጥያቄዎችን ነው ፡፡
በአንድ ወቅት ፣ በታይቫሺሳ ግዛት ውስጥ በሚገኘው የ ‹ቪዛስ› ስብሰባ ላይ አራት ጥያቄዎች ተነሱ ፣ ነገር ግን መንገዶቹ ትክክለኛ መልሶ ማግኘት አልቻሉም ፡፡
በመጨረሻ ፣ ሳካካ እነዚህን ጀልባዎች በጃታቫና ገዳም ወደ ቡድሃ ወሰደ ፡፡
ሳካካ ችግራቸውን ካብራራ በኋላ የሚከተሉትን አራት ጥያቄዎች አቅርቧል (1) ከስጦታዎች መካከል የትኛው ነው (2) ከጣዕም መካከል የትኛው ነው? (3) ከአስደናቂዎች መካከል የትኛው ነው? (4) ለምንድነው? የፍርሃትን መጥፋት እጅግ በጣም ጥሩ አለ?
ለእነዚህ ጥያቄዎች ቡዳ መለሰ ፣ ‹ኦ Sakka ፣ ዲማ ከሁሉም ስጦታዎች ሁሉ የላቀ ፣ ከሁሉም ጣዕሞች ሁሉ ምርጥ እና ከምወዳቸው ሁሉ የላቀው ነው ፡፡
ምኞትን መደምሰስ ወደ ሥነ-ልቦና መድረስ ይመራል ፣ እናም ስለሆነም ከሁሉም ድሎች ሁሉ ትልቁ ነው።
በንግግሩ መጨረሻ ሳካካ ቡድሃውን እንዲህ አለው ፣ “የችሮታ ስጦታዎች ከሁሉም ስጦታዎች የላቀ ከሆነ የቅዳሴ ስጦታዎች በተደረጉ ቁጥር ዋጋን እንድንጋራ ለምን አልተጋበንም? ከዛሬ ጀምሮ ፣ በመልካም ሥራዎች ዋጋ ድርሻ እንድንሆን እፀልያለሁ ፡፡ ”
ከዛ ቡዳ ሁሉም መነኩሴቶች ተሰብስበው ለሁሉም መልካም ተግባሮቻቸውን ለሁሉም ፍጡራን እንዲያጋሩ አጥብቆ ጠየቃቸው ፡፡ ከዚያ ጊዜ ጀምሮ ፣ ከሠላሳ አንድ ዓለም (ቢሆም) የመጡ ፍጥረታትን ሁሉ እንዲጋብዙ የመጋበዝ ልማድ ሆኗል ፡፡ መልካም ሥራ በሚከናወንበት ጊዜ ሁሉ ያመሰግኑ ፡፡ ማብራሪያ ትርጉም (ቁጥር 354)
ስለሆነም የፕራድሃሀ ቡራትን ወይም የፕራድዳዳ ፕራንንች ሁሉ ለመፍጠር እንደ አንድ መልካም ተግባር እንደ ድሬይሻሻ ፕሮግራም መስራች በመሆን ሁሉንም መነኩሳት ፣ መነኮሳትን ፣ ኡፓናካዎችን ፣ ኡፓካካዎችን በሁሉም ዓለም ለመጋበዝና ለመጋበዝ ጊዜው አሁን ነው ፡፡ ፣ በዓለም ዙሪያ ላሉት ሁሉም ለተነቃቃ ህብረተሰብ ደስታ እና ሰላም 27.10.2019 በተወሰነው መሰረት ብዙ ኡፖካሳዎች እና ኡፖካካዎች እና ኡባክያስ በኩሺራ ናቢያባና ቡሂሚ ፓጋዳ ከሌሎች የቡድሃዎች ማህበረሰብ ጋር በመተባበር ተባበሩ ፡፡

sabbarasam dhammaraso jinati
sabbaratim dhammarati jinati
tanhakkhayo sabbadukkham jinati.Verse 354: The gift of the Dhamma excels all gifts; the taste of the Dhamma
excels all tastes; delight in the Dhamma excels all delights. The eradication of
Craving (i.e., attainment of arahatship) overcomes all ills (samsara dukkha).
The Story of the Questions Raised by Sakka
While residing at the Jetavana monastery, the Buddha uttered Verse (354) of
this book, with reference to four questions raised by Sakka, king of the devas.
On one occasion, at a meeting of the devas in the Tavatimsa realm, four
questions were raised, but the devas failed to get the correct answers.
Eventually, Sakka took these devas to the Buddha at the Jetavana monastery.
After explaining their difficulty, Sakka presented the following four questions:
(a) Among gifts, which is the best?
(b) Among tastes, which is the best?
(c) Among delights, which is the best?
(d) Why is the eradication of craving said to
be the most excellent?
To these questions, the Buddha replied, “Oh Sakka, the Dhamma is the
noblest of all gifts, the best of all tastes and the best of all delights.
Eradication of Craving leads to the attainment of arahatship and is, therefore,
the greatest of all conquests.”Then the Buddha spoke in verse as follows:
Verse 354: The gift of tile Dhamma excels all gifts;
the taste of the Dhamma excels all tastes; delight in the Dhamma
excels all delights. The eradication of Craving (i.e., attainment of
arahatship) overcomes all ills (samsara dukkha).
At the end of the discourse, Sakka said to the Buddha, “Venerable Sir,
if the gift of the Dhamma excels all gifts why are we not invited to share the
merit whenever gifts of the Dhamma are made? Venerable Sir! I pray that, from
now on, we may be given a share in the merit of good deeds”. Then the
Buddha asked all the bhikkhus to assemble and exhorted them to share the merit
of all their good deeds with all beings.
Since then, it has become a custom to invite all beings from the thirty-one
realms (bhumis) to come and share merit whenever a good deed is done.
Verse 354. The Conquest Of All Suffering
Gift of Dhamma surpasses all gifts,
the Dhamma, its taste all other tastes beats,
delight in the Dhamma bests other delights,
destruction of craving conquers all ill.

sabbadànaü: all gifts;
jinàti: conquers;
dhammaratã: the flavour of the dhamma;
sabbaürasaü: all flavours conquers;
jinàti: conquers;
dhammaratã: the love of dhamma;
sabbaüratiü: all loves conquer;
taõhakkhayo: he who has got rid of craving;
sabbadukkhaü: all sufferings;
jinàti: conquers.
The gift of the Dhamma excels all gifts;
the taste of the Dhamma excels all tastes;
delight in the Dhamma excels all delights.
The eradication of craving (i.e., attainment of arahat-ship) overcomes all ills (saüsàradukkha).
Commentary
sabbadànaüDhammadànaü:
The gift of Dhamma conquers all gifts.
The Buddha, elucidating this statement, further stated all the great and impressive material gifts to the Buddha, the Dhamma and the Sangha were made possible because, initially, the gift of Dhamma had been made. The gift of Dhamma persuaded the donors to make these other material donations. Even great saints achieved their high spiritual conquests entirely because of the gift of Dhamma they received.
